Naalu Kari Meals at Thalappakatti

A beautiful South Indian feast served on a banana leaf, starting with rice, paruppu podi & ghee, followed by four delicious gravies …..:chicken, mutton, prawn & fish.

And that’s not all! 😍 Kootu, poriyal, rasam, katti moru, pickle, papadam and payasam complete the meal, with delicious sides like mutton kola urundai, Guntur chicken, Ambur chicken & mutton liver fry.

Everything was so tasty, and I genuinely enjoyed every bite! ❤️
And the payasam… so good, as always.
So many flavours, so much variety, and every bite was worth it! I really enjoyed this meal!

A little taste of Jaffna right in Colombo!

The food was full of rich, comforting Jaffna flavours. The prawn kothu with the bull’s-eye egg was a great start, and the mutton puttu kothu was so flavourful.

I really enjoyed the Jaffna puttu with crab curry and coconut sambol . I loved how all those flavours came together.

And their signature payasam was such a lovely sweet treat to finish.

The warm ambience and friendly staff made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

If you love Jaffna-style cuisine, definitely give Coffee Colombo a try!
