BURE BURE

BURE BURE BureBure is a family-run felt studio creating handmade wool footwear, accessories, felting tutorials, and workshops.

We also offer quality wool for your own creative projects. We are Inga and Kęstas, the family behind BureBure. Our journey with felt began in 2006, and today our children have joined us, making BureBure a true family workshop. We create handmade felt products, carefully select and sell wool that felts beautifully, and teach people the art of felting. Over the years, we have travelled to many countries, sharing our knowledge with everyone from individual artists and teachers to schools, museums, and local communities. We also help farmers and wool producers discover how their own sheep's wool can be transformed into beautiful felted products. What inspires us most is meeting new people, exploring different cultures, testing wool from various sheep breeds, and creating videos that share our passion for felt. We love exchanging ideas, learning from others, and helping more people discover how enjoyable and rewarding felting can be.

Don’t throw out that old pillow 🎃 Turn the stuffing into a whole pile of super light felt pumpkins.

All you need: old pillow stuffing, a little wool, a bandage, thread, a needle, soap and a washing machine. That’s it.

Easy to make with kids, washable and reusable year after year. And because they’re so light and soft, you can use them for autumn table decor, wreaths, garlands or even a pumpkin rug.

Eat or get brushed? I’m not sure which one he loves more.

Sometimes I get a little too inspired by lavender and start making all kinds of small things — cards, embroidery, little thank-you notes…

This is probably one of the simplest: a thank-you card with pressed and dried flowers, and just “Thank you” written by hand.

It takes only a few minutes, but I really enjoy making these little details.

The slippers are embroidered by hand and the little lavender flowers on the bag are hand embroidered. I’ll show you how I do it in the next Reel.

When you find a huge field of red clover that hasn’t been sprayed with chemicals.

Women in my country have been drinking red clover tea for generations.

Red clover may contain natural isoflavones — plant compounds known as phytoestrogens.

Because of this, red clover has traditionally been used by women, especially around menopause.

I pick the nicest flowers.

Some I simply dry.

And some I tie together — 5–7 flowers at a time — and dry like this.

Then I just take a little bundle whenever I want tea.

My red clover tea.
