What is "electrified" wood??
This is an amazing combination of art, science
and nature. Owning one of these artistic
creations is like having your own piece of
one of nature's oldest observed natural
phenomenon on earth today.

This piece of “electrocuted wood” was
created by fractal or Lichtenberg burning.
This is passing electricity at approximately
10,000 to 12,000 volts and a conductive
solution between two electrodes while
they are in contact with a piece of wood.
The electricity seeks the path of least
resistance while generating heat along the
wood surface and between the electrodes,
burning the wood as it goes. This process
creates a lightning effect and each piece is
unique. Clear coat is added after burning
and staining for protection.

They are wonderful on their own or as
a part of a collection, their simplistic
style will add to any home's decor. This
is the true definition of a one of a kind,
unique work of art!
