Monaco brought together many of the people and projects that make this industry so interesting to us.

For two days, we reconnected with long-standing friends and collaborators, made new connections and spent time aboard yachts we had been looking forward to seeing.

Our schedule filled quickly, and there were people we still hoped to meet. We look forward to continuing those conversations beyond the show.

Introducing MOBU 33 — the first of a new family by BAZ Yacht Design.

MOBU 33 is a 33-metre performance yacht designed for social life at sea. A bold profile sets the tone, while the open aft layout brings life on board closer to the water.

The aft atrium defines the design. Split-level social spaces extend across wide terraces and step down towards the sea. Generous glazing opens long views through the yacht, linking interior and exterior spaces.

MOBU is a new family of yachts developed under one name and one clear design language.

REN62 — Award-winning interior by BAZ Yacht Design

Our design focus for this 62-foot day cruiser was to bring the material selection, custom detailing and refinement associated with a superyacht into a more compact interior.

Across the main saloon and dayhead, a high-contrast palette of dark wood, polished lacquer and brushed metal is softened by curved surfaces, warm neutral tones, textured fabrics and carefully controlled lighting. Every joint, reflection and transition was resolved to create a calm, connected whole as you move through the interior.

Technology and everyday functions are discreetly integrated into the custom joinery, with the same attention given to the smallest details. Recessed handrails, wireless charging and concealed utilities keep the interior visually clear.

Every detail has a purpose; nothing unnecessary is visible.

Türkiye’de yat tasarımının geleceğini ne şekillendirecek?

MBY Türkiye’nin son basılı sayısında yayımlanan “Designed in Türkiye — Mümkün mü?” dosyasında, kurucu ortaklarımız Bilge Zaptçıoğlu Atal ve Barbaros Atal bu konudaki görüşlerini paylaştı.

Bize göre Türkiye’de yat tasarımının geleceğini belirli bir stilden çok, kullanıcı ihtiyaçlarına göre düşünülmüş, mühendisliği doğru çözülmüş ve yüksek standartlarda üretilmiş; dünya çapında güven uyandıran yatlar şekillendirecek.

A successful refit feels as if it had always been there.

Designed and engineered by BAZ Yacht Design as part of the refit of 4US, the flybridge hardtop remains a defining part of her profile today as ISLANDER II.

Its light, sweeping form extends the upper deck, creating a generous sheltered living area beneath while flowing naturally with the yacht’s existing lines.

A distinctive explorer, designed from the inside out.

At 49.5 metres and under 500 GT, Project KAI brings exterior and interior design together around the experience of life on board.

A private owner’s deck offers a world of its own, while all guest suites are placed on the main deck, with full-height glazing opening them to the view. At the stern, layered terraces with a pool and a limousine tender designed exclusively for the KAI family bring life naturally closer to the water.
