Some experiences bring us even closer to the materials we work with.

Recently, Kristine had the opportunity to visit a marble quarry in Greece, kindly hosted by Grech & Ellul. Seeing the stone at its source, its extraordinary scale, natural variation and beauty, gives an entirely different perspective on a material we use so often in our work.

An inspiring experience, and plenty of knowledge and ideas to bring back to the studio.

Bespoke joinery brings both character and functionality to this contemporary St Paul’s Bay pied-à-terre.

Rich charcoal cabinetry, warm timber finishes and softly veined surfaces are carefully balanced to create depth without overwhelming the space. Integrated lighting, concealed storage and curated open shelving allow each element to serve a purpose while contributing to the overall composition.

The result is a home that feels calm and uncluttered, yet full of architectural character.

Every site visit is an opportunity to review progress, collaborate with contractors and consultants, resolve details, and ensure the design is being realised exactly as intended.

Painting has always been part of Kristine's creative journey, making it especially meaningful to see three paintings from her wildflowers series exhibited at the Cavalieri Hotel.
