The Legend of the Dreamcatcher
According to legend, there was a spider woman named Asibikaashique dedicated to caring for the people of the earth. This woman, protecting all the creatures of our planet, bent over the cribs and beds of children while weaving a strong spiderweb that trapped all the evil that occurred between its threads and vanished at dawn.
As people scattered throughout North America, it became increasingly difficult for them to care for all the children. This made mothers and grandmothers have to start weaving nets with magical properties that trapped bad dreams and nightmares, resulting in the protection of children.
