It’s been a year and a half since our last trip and this is only Rome’s second trip. We’ve been so worried about traveling with a toddler but it’s honestly been the best experience. I think only having one really helps 🤪 but we’re having the best time!

Well hello, friends! I haven’t posted in a very long while. Life has been a whirlwind since I had my daughter a couple of years ago and we haven’t traveled much. I do miss it so much, though and we’ll get back to it eventually.

I’ve been thinking about Paris a lot. I can’t wait to take my girl and share a true Parisian croissant with her 🥰

But until then, I created this sweet print inspired by her. So pretty for a little girl’s room 🎀

Since this is our first family trip, I don’t have a good baseline for what a good family hotel is but we have enjoyed it. I will say, this hotel feels like it might be better suited for either families with older kids or no kids at all. There are some adults only restaurants that we couldn’t take advantage of but if you travel with family members, it would be a great dinner date for mom and dad.

The resort is all-inclusive and the food has been pretty good (for all-inclusive). The Mexican restaurant is fantastic and we really enjoyed the Japanese restaurant, too.

We booked this hotel and the flights with chase points. It was 337,000 points for 4 nights in a junior swim out king room, which is an upgraded room. I booked it all directly through the chase travel portal.

I think we’ll try a new hotel for our next trip but we’ve really enjoyed our time at Dreams! We’ve made memories that will last a lifetime.

Meet The Owner & Creator of 527 Photo

Hi! My name is Heather and I created 527 because I love photographing beautiful things; Stunning destinations and happy souls are at the top of my list.

I began snapping pics in 2014 when my husband and I got married in Prague, Czech Republic. From there, we traveled to Salzburg, Hallstatt, Munich, and Dubrovnik on our honeymoon. I brought an inexpensive DSLR, learned the ropes, and haven't stopped photographing ever since! When we got home, I decided I wanted photography to be a large part of my life, so I invested in the right equipment and took a few more trips.

My love for travel began in 2008 when I studied abroad in Paris, France. It was my first international trip and I was awestruck. My husband and I were able to travel back in 2015 and those pictures were the beginning of my shop. Since then, we've traveled to numerous countries and we have no plans to stop traveling. Maybe our next destination will be your favorite place :)
