Here are the beach treasures we found in a 25ft radius, pre- hurricane doggy beach walk this morning.
I don't usually go out with a thought of cleaning or picking up trash off the streets and the beach. I just pick it up when I notice, regardless if I have a bag or not.
If we each grab 2-3 plastic bottles while enjoying a beautiful day on the beach, during our regular daily walks, that's 2-3 plastic bottles that don't end up in the ocean that day or rolling on the street in the sand.
If I wait for somone else to initiate, to clean after themselves or just say- it's not my job, I'm not being part of the solution. I'm becoming part of the problem that brought us here, where we stand today.
Let's stop pointing fingers and we want to see in our lives.
