Uncle Eric's dry Wonton noodle with homemade Char Siew and homegrown sweet leaves, served with ABC soup.

I usually keep stock in the freezer after boiling chicken, cabbage, reddish and carrots for 1 hour. Drain out the stock and freeze in small containers. Each time I need it, I defrost one portion of stock, use it as the base for my soup.

The ABC soup contains cut potatoes, onion, carrots and tomatoes. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper. Yummy!

When I am stressed, cooking can be therapeutic. Right now, this piece of homemade Char Siew came out with a perfect texture, taste, a little burnt smell... it melts in the mouth... Ok I'm quite happy now! I need to keep going! No matter what!

Whenever I watch a cooking video, I see so many people like to ask if they can add this, minus that... bla bla bla... trying to modify what has been shown. If Uncle Eric' is making a video like that, I will just answer them: YES, you can add this, minus that, do whatever makes you happy, just don't call it my recipe. Simple as that!
