As I finish my final pump for this 24 hours, I’ll be mixing every bottles and storing it away for my baby ikut ounces dia.

88 days of breastfeeding. 88 days of choosing not to give up even on the tired days, the doubting days, the emotional days. This journey has taught me patience, resilience, and deep trust in my own body.

As the new year begins, my only vision is simple. To breastfeed as long as I can, to stay present in this phase, and to honour every effort made with love. Here’s to entering the new year with gratitude, strength, and a heart full of hope 🤍✨ ❤

A mom loses calcium.
She loses iron.
Her back aches.
Her shoulders burn.
Her wrists hurt.
Her body feels tired in places she never knew existed.

Yet she still insists on doing it.

Because breastfeeding is not just feeding.

It is sacrifice that no one sees, but her baby feels.

She insists because she knows this phase is temporary, but the impact is lifelong.
Because every pump and every pour is love flowing through her body.

Being a direct feeding and pumping amma means living by the clock, yet learning to let go of it too. Some days my pumping time clashes with his feeding, and in those moments, the decision is always the same. I feed him first. I latch him, I watch him drink, I wait until he’s full. Only then do I pump, even if the output is less.

Most nights and early mornings, I’m thankful that my pumps don’t clash much with his feeds. Those quiet hours remind me why consistency and discipline matter so much in this journey. I never imagined I’d be feeding on one side while collecting or pumping on the other, yet here I am, learning what my body is capable of.

This journey isn’t about numbers or oversupply. It’s about trust, patience, and showing up every single time. My body is doing wonders, and I respect it deeply. Grateful to God for choosing me to nourish my Thushant 🤍🌙

Breastfeeding or pumping isn’t just about feeding our little ones.

It’s a whole journey of love, patience, and showing up even on the days we feel tired. Every drop of milk carries antibodies that protect our baby, supports their growth, helps with brain development, and strengthens their tiny immune system.

For us mothers, it helps our body recover, creates a beautiful emotional bond, and reminds us of how strong we truly are. Whether it’s latching at 3 am or pumping in between chores, this journey teaches us dedication and sacrifice.

Some days the milk flows easily, some days it doesn’t, but every effort still counts. So to all moms who breastfeed or pump, know that you’re giving your baby something truly precious, and your journey is valid, powerful, and worth celebrating ❤️

He wasnt a Hero, but a Man who keeps his word. Before we get pregnant, we discussed many things, including sharing responsibilities.

Witnessing him put us above himself is a pure blessings Forever grateful for him, he makes my motherhood journey feel so light and easy

Whats your milk killer, dear ammas? Share with me in the comment 🥹😭

I just found out mine and I’m still shocked. Milk killer means any food you eat that secretly causes your milk supply to drop. I’ve been wondering why my collection suddenly went down from 5–6 oz to 3–4 oz per pump… and guess what I discovered? It was CHOCOLATES. Yes, you read that right. Could you believe it??? I literally freaked out when I realised this. ❤️
