Remember the Lemon peel stitch we talked about a while back? Do you know that if you use that same stitch but 2 colour it will become another stitch called THE HOUNDSTOOTH STITCH. The houndstooth stitch is reversible. Both sides are almost identical. The only difference is that one color will be a bit more prominent.

Now that we have gone through all the basic stitches (single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet and treble crochet) and also how to start a stitch (slip stitch and magic circle). We can now look at how all these can be combined to form patterns.

Our first pattern is the Lemon Peel Stitch which is a combination of single crochet and double crochet
