I hope Art finds you, just like it found me. 😊

Here’s the new Weekender dancing through my fingers at the moment. A mix of soft pastels, unexpected pops of bold colour, and a whole lot of stitches coming together slowly.

Right now, she’s just pieces on my table, with leather handles waiting to be attached. A whole Weekender I can already see so clearly in my head.

And when she’s ready, I think the first vacation-ready girlie to spot her might just be the one who gets to own her. 🌷

Slowly handcrafted with colourful granny squares on beige background and finished with leather handles and trimmings, every stitch was carefully placed to create a timeless piece. 🌷

More than a clutch, this piece carries a story. 🤍

Crocheted from timeless granny squares and finished with a wooden kiss-lock closure, it celebrates timeless craftsmanship with a touch of culture.

For the lining, I chose Adire, a hand-dyed Nigerian traditional textile, featuring the “Ìyá” inscription, which means “Mother” in the Yoruba language. A quiet tribute to the strength, warmth and unconditional love of motherhood. ✨

A little piece of a mother’s love made to be carried wherever life takes you. 🫶🏼

The making of another handmade Weekender. 🌸🌈

This piece is for my client, all the way from California, USA. ❤️
It’s extra special because it’s my first international order through my Umoja shop. Most of my clients outside Nigeria usually order through Dms.
