About 2 months back,this aunty dropped by at my shop to make inquiry on a bag I hung outside.

I gave her my price and she flared up. Looked at the bag all round with some annoying look on her face and said "but this is not new nau madam,no be original"...

I looked at her and almost lost it. I simply dragged my bag off her hand and told her "okay ma,thank you ma, abeg go where them de sell new and original one go buy"

She: e never reach like that madam

Me: Kept mute until she left

Fast-forward to yesterday,same woman came in my absence and dropped a bag for repair with my girls that she will come back today for it after dropping part payment from the price they told her.

To cut the long story short ,she returned today and upon realizing she was "that same woman from 2 months back" who looked down on my bags,I simply told her to go and come back in 20 mins.

This month started off slow, like reaaallly slow.

2 whole weeks, not a single order despite showing up every single day. I won’t lie, it messed with my head a little that I started questioning what I was doing wrong (you know that feeling nau).

But then,I didn't let that to weigh me down soo much. Not until the 3rd week that things began to turn around.Every order that came in reminded me that people actually believe in what I do, and that is something I will never take for granted 😊

Looking at all the orders that came forth, I am just feeling grateful. It is not always easy, but it is always worth it.
