🪑 Let me talk small about furniture…
Most people think furniture is all about fine design and beauty… but that’s not the real truth.
The real strength of any furniture is what you don’t see — the board and the fittings used.
Let me break it down simple 👇
First, not all boards are the same:
MDF is smooth but doesn’t like water.
HDF is stronger.
Plywood is very strong and lasts longer.
Then particle board… cheap, but it swells and spoils fast.
👉 That’s why some wardrobes look fine today and start bending tomorrow.
Now let’s talk about fittings 🔩
This one is very important but people ignore it.
Soft-close hinges — no noise, longer life.
Good drawer runners — smooth movement.
Bad fittings — your furniture go start loose one by one.
Simple truth:
If the fittings fail, the furniture has failed.
Before you buy any furniture, check this:
– Open and close it, is it smooth?
– Check inside, not only outside
– Ask what materials they used
Stop buying furniture because it’s cheap or fine.
Cheap furniture will cost you more later.
