A mobile team of acoustic engineers, sound engineers and designers specialized in acoustics and audio design. We love what we do, we think in sound waves and we strive to achieve the highest possible goal. Constantly working with new technologies and ideas, results in diverse high standard acoustic projects in The Netherlands and abroad. It’s our mission to translate the final part of the signal path, one-to-one from the sound source to the pinna.

We’re pleased to share a recent project by Pinna Acoustics in Nantes, France, for Prod 203. We designed the acoustic environment for a large Live Room, intended for classical recordings with a L-Acoustics L-ISA immersive audio setup.

The room is conceived as an extension of the musical instruments itself — becoming an instrument that can be shaped and used by composers, musicians and conductors. The reverberation time and reflection patterns can be adjusted, allowing the acoustic character of the room to be adapted to different musical requirements and productions.

The control room features a Neve console, an ATC stereo monitoring system, and a Neumann 9.1.4 immersive monitoring setup.

The focus throughout the project was on creating a high-quality acoustic environment that works naturally with the technology and the needs of the studio.

The result is a beautiful and inspiring place for recording and production.Thank you to the team at Prod 203 for the collaboration and trust.

Meet The Farmhouse, a brand-new, world-class post-production studio complex in Toronto.

This incredible facility features: A state-of-the-art 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos studio, A massive main mix stage, and a central vocal / foley booth serving as the heart of the building.

Every single room was fully designed and custom-built by us in the Netherlands. We then shipped the entire complex across the Atlantic to Toronto and assembled it on-site in just 7 days!

The Result: The acoustics are absolutely top-tier, and the rooms sound phenomenal. We couldn’t be prouder of the high-level acoustic performance achieved in this space.

A huge thank you to the amazing Farmhouse team for their trust and hospitality. It was an absolute pleasure working together. Thanks, John! Looking forward to the incredible mixes that will come out of this space.

Our journey with Afrojack started over 10 years ago, he was our first big-name client. Since then, we’ve designed and built over 15 studios for him across 5 countries. Grateful to keep building, shaping and growing. Designed and built by Pinna Acoustics.

A creative hub built around a flush-mounted PMC 8-2 XBD monitoring system, delivering precision and depth across the full frequency range. Adjustable LED lighting allows the room to shift from focused production sessions to a more relaxed atmosphere with a single touch.

A high-performance mix room built around flush-mounted PMC6 monitors, integrated into a custom baffle wall for optimal translation, detail and precision. Warm tones, clean materials and custom-lit niches create a calm and refined workspace.

Welcome to our demo studio, situated at our headquarters, a space where we explore new designs, materials, and techniques before they make their way into client projects.

For those who don’t know us: we are Pinna Acoustics, a Dutch company specializing in acoustics and audio design. We create and build high-end audio spaces — from music studios to creative work environments — each one precisely measured, tuned, and delivered to some of the biggest names in the world. Clients include Spinnin’ Records, Warner Music Group, Netflix, Martin Garrix, Afrojack, and many more.

This demo room is our testing ground. At its heart is a pair of PMC BB6-XBD monitors. Along the walls, custom rectangular light fixtures made from walnut wood return a subtle layer of diffuse spatial information to the space. With a single touch, the integrated LED system transforms the atmosphere — shifting from bright, functional light to a softer, more immersive setting.

A custom-designed desk by Pinna Acoustics anchors the space, built to match the room’s function and character. This is where ideas are tested, shaped, and prepared for the real world.

Created for a private customer with a clear vision of home studio perfection, this custom space balances music production, productivity and a touch of leisure. Built to support focused work and creative flow, it’s a studio made for long hours of inspiration.

Traditional Japanese-inspired accents run throughout the design, reflecting the client’s strong connection to a country they frequently visit. The result is a personal space with character, warmth and calm.

At the heart of the room sits a pair of PMC6-2 monitors, delivering exceptional clarity, detail and impact. A monitoring setup built to reveal every layer of a production with confidence.

Projects like this remind us that the best studios are the ones that feel deeply personal.

A custom studio for Disruptive Records, tucked along a scenic canal in the heart of Amsterdam.

This independent label is known for curated soundscapes through imprints like Disruptive LoFi and Andante Piano, creating music that invites listeners to slow down, reset and be present. Beyond releases, they also host intimate living-room-style concerts that feel personal and immersive.

The studio reflects that same energy. Light, warm and inviting, with natural materials, soft textures and generous glass walls that flood the space with daylight. To balance openness with performance, we installed movable acoustic panels that allow the room to be tuned for high-quality recordings whenever needed.

Proof once again that glass doesn’t compromise sound when the acoustic design is right.

A closer look at our studio design for SMP Amsterdam, the seasoned architects of sound behind a wide range of high-profile film, television and commercial projects.

For this expansion, we designed and built six identical studios, each optimized for efficiency and workflow. At the core of the layout is a shared vocal booth positioned between two production rooms, a smart solution that maximizes space while keeping collaboration seamless.

A balance of simplicity and sophistication defines these studios. Modern, focused and built to support professionals who turn sound into emotion.
