*What actually nourishes a human being?*

An underlying question that much of my work quietly revolves around.

While designing installations, researching materiality, working with textile crafts, embodiment, sensory experience, and emotional resonance in space, I noticed how deeply aesthetics shape the way we experience ourselves, our bodies, our homes, our relationships, and even our nervous systems.

This line of thinking has slowly evolved into a larger research territory for me:
The relationship between aesthetics, embodiment, emotional well-being, culture, and contemporary systems of optimization.

I’ve started writing more publicly about these ideas on Substack.

This first essay (link below) explores the overarching umbrella of emotional undernourishment in contemporary visual culture: from homogenized interiors and optimization aesthetics to embodiment, self-regulation, and the growing disconnect between visual refinement and lived human experience.

Not as a critique, but as part of a broader inquiry, and hopefully more essays to come, into what meaningful living and creating might look like in an emotionally depleted culture.

I'm curious to hear what resonates with you!

On aesthetics, optimization, embodiment, and emotional undernourishment in contemporary culture.

Constructed from multiple threads of glass fibre crossing in three dimensions, the complex weave of Cirrus Uni and Cirrus Square appear as one homogeneous structure from the distance. But up close, they unfold into a world of intricate detail, where every connection tells the artist’s patient touch.

Fascinated? The exhibition is still on until the end of February. All unique art pieces are available upon request on our website.
