stephan siepermann vormgeving nieuws en actualiteiten uit mijn leven als ontwerper. stephan siepermann graduated at the design academy eindhoven in 2005.

he started his studio in utrecht (nl) where he creates furniture concepts and interior products. he is very interested in manufacturing and always tries to find new ways to construct or to use materials and techniques differently, to achieve new skins, new forms or new functionality. siepermann often adds an layer of social engagement in his creations by playing with a sometimes hidden deeper leve

l of meaning. sometimes he does that by contradiction in the used materials, the form itself or its function and sometimes by clever or unusual combinations of one or more of this components. although the startingpoint of his work is always to try to serve its user. all products are handcrafted in his own workshop and therefore unique pieces of labor. over a short period of time stephan siepermann created a complete collection of interior products. furthermore he works on interior projects for hotels, restaurants, shops and private clients. Ook dit jaar neem ik deel aan GLUE Utrecht. Van 9-11 mei ben je welkom in mijn atelier aan de oudegracht 270 aan de werf voor een inkijkje in mijn werkplaats en showroom. Met veel nieuwe objecten en projecten. Open van 10-17 uur. Tot dan!

I’ll be participating with the brand new design event “GLUE-UTRECHT” from 9-11 of may. My workshop is open for a visit. I will prepare a nice exposition about my work and i will also sell some items and prototypes for special prices. Come by and visit me and the other makers and designers from utrecht. May 9-11. Daily 11-18 hrs.

Fineerproefjes voor de volgende serie kiteboards. Oneindige mogelijkheden qua houtsoorten en patronen. Heerlijk!

De eerste serie van 5 planken is af! Ongelooflijk veel geleerd over cnc frezen, lamineren, hydro dynamica, vezels, epoxy...

De eerste serie van 5 planken is af! Ongelooflijk veel geleerd over cnc frezen, lamineren, hydro dynamica, vezels, epoxy, vacuumbagging enz. Nu een periode intensief testen en dan begin ik langzaam aan met andere modellen, website, huisstijl enz enz. De eerste drie planken zijn niet te koop (voor t archief) maar vanaf nummer 4 en 5 mag je bieden. De planken zijn 134x41 cm wegen ca 2000 gram en zijn voorzien van een mix van glasvezel en carbon( achterkant) en natuurlijk prachtig europees notenhoutfineer. Inmiddels ook een vilten hanndvat ontworpen. ( heel licht ook weer). To be continued…..

Vanochtend de eerste test sessie met de laatste (3e) en tot nu toe beste plank gehad. Zonder overdrijven de fijnste plan...

Vanochtend de eerste test sessie met de laatste (3e) en tot nu toe beste plank gehad. Zonder overdrijven de fijnste plank waar ik ooit mee heb gevaren. Hele goede upwind eigenschappen, perfecte flex en een hele fijne rockerline (45mm) Daardoor heel vergeeflijk ook bij choppy condities en steile hoge golfslag. Maar het beste is het gewicht: 1970 gram! Bam! 😀 vanaf vandaag kan ik vol vertrouwen meer gaan experimenteren met channels, outlines en vinnen. Maar hier ben ik nu al echt heel blij mee!
