“There is no coming to consciousness without pain.” ~ C.G. Jung
This painting touches on one of Jung’s idea that we cannot truly transform without facing what we’ve been hiding from ourselves.
To me, the swan’s open chest represents the moment when the mask finally breaks and something more honest begins to emerge. It’s vulnerable, uncomfortable, and beautiful all at once. It’s liberating 🪽.
I know real transformation rarely feels graceful. It asks us to let go of the version of ourselves we’ve carefully built, so that something more authentic can take its place. And the moment we meet this vulnerable and authentic part of ourselves changes us forever ✨.

[pol] Ten obraz opowiada o powrocie do domu - nie w dosłownym znaczeniu, lecz jako wewnętrznym doświadczeniu. To moment, gdy po długiej burzy pełnej mroku, chaosu i lęku w końcu pojawia się słońce. Chwila ciepła i bezpieczeństwa, kiedy oddech zwalnia, a ciało się rozluźnia. Ten moment, w którym czujesz, że wreszcie jesteś w domu.

Proces powstawania tego obrazu był długi i wymagał wielu warstw i zmian, w pewnym sensie odzwierciedlając moją własną wewnętrzną podróż przez osobiste burze i trudne doświadczenia.

Zawsze traktuję moje obrazy jak żywe organizmy, które rosną i zmieniają się razem ze mną. Dlatego, kiedy namalowałam ostatnią warstwę, poczułam się tak, jakbym wróciła do domu. Kiedykolwiek spoglądam na ten obraz - wracam do tego uczucia.
Niedawno obraz był prezentowany na dwóch wystawach w Holandii i teraz czuję, że nadszedł właściwy moment, by znalazł swój nowy dom. Jeśli coś w Tobie porusza i czujesz z nim połączenie - odezwij się do mnie w wiadomości prywatnej.

[eng] This painting tells the story of returning home - not in a literal sense, but as an inner experience. It is the moment when, after a long storm of darkness, chaos and fear, the sun finally appears. A moment of warmth and safety, when the breath slows and the body softens. The moment you feel you are finally home.

The process of creating this painting was long and unfolded through many layers, reflecting my own inner journey through my personal storms and difficult experiences.

I see my paintings as living organisms that grow alongside me. This is why, when I painted the final layer, I felt as if I had returned home. This painting reminds me of that feeling and helps me return to that state whenever I look at it.

[pol] Ten obraz powstał w pełnym przepływie, zabawie i lekkości. Malowało mi się go szybko i przyjemnie. A nie zawsze tak bywa 😜

Niektóre obrazy muszą przyjąć wiele warstw i zmian decyzji, a proces nierzadko trwa wiele miesięcy. Tu było inaczej.

Może dlatego, że malowałam go kiedy Słońce było w Byku - czyli w sezonie przyjemności, umiłowania piękna i sztuki oraz nieprzemęczania się. A może dlatego, że podeszłam do tego płótna bez żadnych oczekiwań i presji.
Nazwałam go Magic is Real, bo ma w sobie coś magicznego - lubię na niego patrzeć, wpatrywać się w ekspresyjne pociągnięcia pędzla formujące dziwaczne, magiczne kwiaty. Przypomina mi o stanie lekkości i zabawy oraz o tym, że magia naprawdę istnieje - wystarczy się na chwilę zatrzymać i dać życiu pozytywnie się zaskoczyć 🙂.

[eng]?This painting came to life in a state of pure flow, playfulness, and ease. I painted it quickly, and the whole process felt effortless - which isn’t always the case 😜

Some paintings need countless layers and many changes of direction, and sometimes they take months to find their final form. This one was different.

Maybe it’s because I painted it during Ta**us season - a time that reminds me to slow down, appreciate beauty and art, and not push myself too hard. Or maybe it was simply because I approached this canvas without any expectations or pressure.

I called it Magic is Real because there’s something undeniably magical about it. I love sitting with it, letting my eyes wander through the expressive brushstrokes that gradually reveal strange, enchanting flowers.

Whenever I look at this painting, it reminds me of the beauty of play, lightness, and trust, and that magic really does exist. Sometimes all it takes is pausing for a moment and allowing life to surprise you in the most beautiful ways.
