About a year ago, I made this crochet horse as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend’s uncle. 🐴🤎🇳🇴

He spent his whole life working with horses, and his home is full of horse memories, so it felt like the perfect gift.

I wasn’t there when he opened it, but today my boyfriend visited him and sent me these photos. A year later, seeing my crochet horse proudly on display in his living room made me smile. There are few compliments sweeter than knowing something handmade has become part of someone’s home. 🧶💕

I worked on this baby blanket offshore, on flights, and during quiet moments whenever I had time for a few more stitches. ✈️⚓

Some people come into your life and you can’t help but celebrate their happiness as if it were your own. This blanket was my way of doing that. 💕

Today I finally got to hand it over, and I can’t wait to meet the little boy it was made for. 🩵👶
