My current mission 🕵️♂️ has officially turned into a tragedy.
Five shops. Five separate, heartbreaking walks down the haircare aisle, only to find an empty shelf where my absolute favourite product used to live.
By shop number five I did what any desperate person would do, I stood there in the middle of aisle and googled it – and my worst fears were confirmed – the product had been discontinued. “Why would they stop making it?!” I muttered to myself in the voice of Wool Eyes in Sheep Detectives when he says: “Why would he stop there?!”
Seriously, what is the psychology behind this? 🤷♀️You spend years testing products, dodging bad hair days, and wasting money until you finally find The One🌟. It becomes your holy grail 🏆 and then BAM out of nowhere, they discontinue it. I am convinced there is an evil CEO sitting in a boardroom right now 😈, spinning in a leather chair, saying, “Let’s see how they handle this minor inconvenience. Send in the bad hair days!”
Where is the logic in axing a popular, well-liked product? It makes zero sense. Okay, deep breaths. Rant over.
Thank goodness I can always count on my emotional support fragrances to save my sanity. Nothing cures the pain of a discontinued product quite like the scent of Sea Salt & Avocado 🍊🥑or Pink Peony & Pear 🌸🍐. They are two of my absolute favourites, and you better believe my secret apocalypse stash of both is fully locked, loaded, and topped up. They can take my hair gel, but they will never take my wax melts!!
