Want to know how to base up your vessels? 🌸

Did you know that green floral foam is quite toxic and not good for the environment as it does not break down and gets into waterways!

Share this with someone who likes to create with flowers at home and lets all explore more sustainable ways to create 🌿

This technique is using a material that is re-usable and will last years. It is plastic coated, not ideal, but I find it lasts longer, is kinder on the hands, and is easier to work with, but you could use uncoated chicken wire.

In place of chicken wire you can also also use various botanicals such as leafless Twisty Willow or Mulunbekia branches creating a lot of crossed stems to create into.

Happy creating
Anna 🌸

This song seems fitting! Larissa was gifted a voucher for her birthday to join me for a 1:1 floral workshop. She created this gorgeous arrangement so naturally and quickly it left me wondering if she had been a florist in a previous life 🌿
