Last night was another valuable learning opportunity, where we had the privilege of working alongside IRD and a provider who helped us understand and set up Xero software to make managing our business finances easier and more efficient.
We also had the opportunity to learn more about tax, GST, financial responsibilities, and our obligations as registered businesses in New Zealand.
These are some of the things that can easily be overlooked when starting a business. Sometimes we focus so much on getting the business up and running that we forget to educate ourselves about the financial side, tax responsibilities, record keeping, GST, and the obligations that come with being a registered business.
For us, learning is part of growing. 🌱
