The garden is breathing a sigh of relief after all that lovely rain...can't believe how many bumblebees are around, they are especially loving the flowering herbs. Oregano is a favourite.

Really enjoyed that presentation on orchid growing in Northland gardens by Shawn Putt.
Had no idea there were so many varieties that can be grown outside up here...
Look out for the orchid society display weekend in Kerikeri. They have loads for sale & displays are stunning.
