Happy Father's Day to all our NZ Dads 🇳🇿💙

Kia ora whanau - I was in the kitchen all day making a feast for our Dad for Fathers Day! Stuffing from scratch, roast meat, roast chicken, kafta, seafood salad and my favourite - baked rice pudding with cream!

But I wanted to say - a Father isn't just one thing.

Anyone can bring a child into this world, but it takes a REAL man to raise one.

So today we thank:
- The man who raised another man's child as his own
- The Dad who stayed and raised his own
- The Mother who does both Mum and Dad
- The Uncle who picks up the pieces
- The Mate who's always in their corner
- The Mentor who guides to better paths
- The Grandfather who shows up for everything
- The older Brother who had to take on the Dad role

If that's you - WE THANK YOU. You are so appreciated.

Kia ora whanau! My secret ingredient exposed!!!! 🤫

If you haven't got GHEE in your pantry, get it! This Pure NZ Ghee is the ultimate butter - nutty, rich, and perfect for frying!

I made my Lebanese breakfast wrap in 34 seconds today - quick, easy, and low carb!

What I used:
- Pure NZ Ghee (my secret!)
- Eggs
- Classic Haloumi - found on special for $5.99 at the supermarket!
- Cucumber, tomato, black olives, spring onion, fresh mint
- Rebel Low Carb Spinach Wrap
- Little mayo

Fried eggs and haloumi in ghee, rolled it all up in a spinach wrap, bit of pickled chilli on the side - Sahtein!

Kia ora whanau - still unwell day 3 so no cooking from me today, but my heart is full 🤒❤️

My lovely family friend in Lebanon sent me this video of her making Kousa bi Laban (stuffed zucchini in yogurt sauce) and gave me permission to share with you all!

For those who don't know - it's little zucchini hollowed out, stuffed with spiced rice and meat, then cooked slowly in a creamy yogurt sauce with mint and garlic. So so comforting!

Whanau, sick day here so no voice from me - flu has me coughing at every word! 😷

So I sent my curry chicken video to Maher for his honest review and he sent this back haha! "This food make me so hungry, I want to put my hand through the camera and take the plate!" 😂

NO FANCY RECIPE! NO MACROS! Just a PHAT curry chicken + mash for cheat day! When your Lebanese husband says that, you know it's good!

This is why I love what I do - food that brings us together even when I'm sick in bed!

What does your hubby say when you cook his favorite? Mine just wants to steal the whole plate!

Okay whanau, I tried my Lebanese Mother-in-law's home remedy for a common cold... 5 RAW garlic cloves dipped in turmeric powder 😅

Let's just say Lebanese women are HARD! I made it to 2!

After ALL that rolling… it’s finally eating time! 😂🇱🇧
And honestly… it was SO worth the wait! ❤️
This is one of my favourite things about Lebanese food — it’s never just about the food. It’s the family, the stories, the laughs, the chaos… and everyone waiting impatiently to eat! 😂
My Lebanese family gave this one the tick of approval, so I’ll happily take that! 🥰
And of course… last bite was for Maher Khaled El Ali ❤️🇱🇧
