I have this ‘thinking shelf’…it’s where a place where a painting goes so that I can see it properly. Out of the studio and in a space. Sometimes it passes the ‘thinking shelf’ test and sometimes it needs more work.
This painting has been here before and this time (after a slight crop) it’s passed the test.
This is ‘Good Morning Shadows’ inspired by an early morning stroll along the harbours edge.

I had a special request for 'Summer Splash'...

The original was sold at the end of last year, and this painting really connected with a lovely lady who got in touch with me. So I got busy and organized for a fine art print to be made from this image.
That's one of the reasons I love having prints available...it means that more than one person can share in these pieces.
We are in the early stages of setting up our framing workshop, which is behind my new studio, and we made this gorgeous oak frame with our new equipment. We're pretty stoked with how it all turned out. The natural wood tones really add to the warm, happy feelings of this piece.
