At GEORGE & EDI we believe luxury is created through craftsmanship, a lot of love and New Zealand made products. We are known for our high-quality, handcrafted home and body products that elevate the everyday – from signature scented candles to luxurious room sprays and perfumed balms. We choose to work with natural soy wax because it is chemical free, sustainable, has excellent fragrance loading and gives you great burn times.

We sat down with Julie to talk about the story behind Stella, the female heart of The Darker Side.

Where did Stella get her name?

Bogart has always been our man. Strong, distinctive, a nod to old-school Hollywood. When we were creating The Darker Side, we loved the idea of giving this fragrance a female identity.

We wanted her to feel like a woman, not just another name. Sensual, sophisticated, a little mysterious. Stella wasn't our first choice, but the more time we spent with her, the more the name belonged to her. In the end, she just felt right.

So if Stella were a person, who would she be?
The woman who doesn't need to be the loudest in the room to be noticed. Confident, sensual, effortlessly elegant. Just enough mystery that you want to know more.

She's made for evening. Low lights, a quieter house, that softer part of the night.
