Fun day here at Atananarivo domestic airport. While I am waiting for the plane full of left luggage to arrive from Morondava don't forget to call in to see Mr French Originals at our little shop in Whangarei.

A little piece of French history 🇫🇷🤍
A beautiful Moulin des Loups & Hamage GRANIT wash set, dating to circa 1930.
The matching jug and basin feature a delicate teal-blue floral design and geometric border — a wonderful example of French terre de fer, with the beautiful patina that only comes with age.
GRANIT refers to the hard, durable ceramic body, incorporating materials such as kaolin, giving the ware its strength and fine white appearance.
A timeless piece of French country style, ready for its next home.

My last night in Aubusson. So bitter sweet. I have said goodbye to my friends that I will not see again until next year, and this evening, with tears in my eyes, I have said goodbye to my little piece of France. I will be home soon, I will be so very happy to see you, I have missed you. It is happy and sad to love two worlds.

The treasures that I buy are actually not for you. I rescue them so that they are not forgotten and they do not turn to dust. If you find something in my shop that you like, please, only buy it if you love it, if you will give it a second chance at life. It is not new, it has faults and imperfections. But it has survived until now and perhaps you can see the beauty in it that I can.

A good day! If you have never sat on the side of the road, all day, just to watch a load of cyclists go past in the middle of France, well, I think you should!!
