I always look forward to seeing what the new years focus is and feel a strong connection to this years kaupapa! Inclusion, connection, belonging - ataahua ❤️ seems very fitting with my career in Education and recent move to a new role within that 💫

Connection to ngā Atua:

Tāne Mahuta (God of the Forest): Represents the harmony between humans and the natural world. According to traditions, he shaped the first human and gave them the breath of life, reminding us that humans are part of nature, not separate from it.

That blue is so striking... paired with blue it absolutely pops and stands out. Reminds me of a starry night. Deep blue before the complete darkness takes over. Ataahua 🫶✨️

Suuuuuuuch a dreamy pattern I have been working on lately!!! So so so sorry for the radio silence. Hard juggling a new job and big whānau, AND soooo many babies due to be born around me I've been on the blanket making rampage!!!
What do you think of this pattern 🥰 gender neutral for a whānau that can handle surprises - i could never 🤣🤭
