Printed documents still work even though we have them saved on our phones.
Here’s why:
1. Phones can run out of battery or malfunction
Airports, immigration counters, or hotels may need to see your documents at the exact moment your phone dies, overheats, or suddenly crashes. (PLUS ANG KABA PAG NASA IO KANA…DI MO NA MASCROLL YUNG SAVED COPIES MO SA PHONE 😁)
2. Not all places accept digital copies
Some immigration officers, border checkpoints, or smaller accommodations still require paper documents. A printed itinerary, visa, or booking confirmation can prevent delays or denial of entry.
3. Backup in case of loss or theft
If your phone gets lost or stolen, your digital files go with it. Printed copies help you prove your identity, rebook flights, or get assistance from embassies.
💡tip: Keep your passport, in separate for extra security.
