Philippine Heroes Collection 01

Rizal Edition Apparel

JosΓ© Rizal was a Filipino nationalist, writer, and reformist who played a major role in inspiring the movement for Philippine independence from Spanish rule. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

Born on June 19, 1861, in Calamba, Laguna, Rizal was a brilliant student who studied medicine and the humanities in the Philippines and in Europe. He became famous for his novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, which exposed social injustices and abuses during the Spanish colonial period. πŸ“š

Although he promoted peaceful reform rather than violent revolution, his writings awakened Filipino nationalism. Rizal was arrested by Spanish authorities and executed on December 30, 1896, in Bagumbayan (Rizal Park). His life and works continue to inspire Filipinos to value freedom, education, and love of country. ✨

(っ◔◑◔)っ β™₯ Baybayin is making a come back and people are starting to notice. β™₯

Last year, the Cultural Center of the Philippines lit up its iconic building---

The colors of the Philippine flag and beautiful Baybayin script were showcased in all its glory

For Buwan ng Wika and National Heroes Day. ✨

It reminded many Filipinos of the beauty of our ancient writing system.

As these celebrations return this year, schools across the country are once again preparing cultural programsβ€”

Students wearing traditional attire, performing sabayang pagbigkas, playing larong Pinoy, and celebrating the Filipino language and heritage.

But one thing that’s becoming more exciting today?

Baybayin is slowly coming backβ€”

Not just in history books, but in art, design, and modern creativity.

For artists and culture lovers, Baybayin is more than a script.

It’s a connection to our roots.

This is showcased by Crafter Crow’s Philippine Hero Collectionβ€”

Designs inspired by our national heroes and the elegance of our very own Baybayin script.

A simple way to celebrate culture through everyday items like shirts and mugs while showing pride in our heritage.

If you love Filipino culture, history, and meaningful art, you can check out the collection here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/CrafterCrow/shop?

Celebrate Buwan ng Wika and National Heroes Day with something truly Filipino. πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

But honestlyβ€”you don’t need a special occasion to show your pride in being Pinoy.

Lightweight, comfortable, and made to elevate your casual look wherever you go.
