Sometimes all we seek is a listening ear or a comforting embrace, but true love goes beyond that. Love is courageous, willing to risk even the friendship to speak God's transforming truth. In patience and compassion, we must share the ultimate hope—so that our struggling friend can find true joy and the greatest help of all: Jesus.
"Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted." (Galatians 6:1)
