It's World Mental Health day today.

The theme from WHO is Our Minds, Our Rights: Mental health is a universal human right.

What does that mean for you and me? We all deserve to be well, but how?

While it's important to have access to mental health care and other wellbeing practices, it is getting out there and talking to people that I found to be truly grounding and healing.

We can only truly thrive when we are part of a bigger, healthy, ecosystem.

I started Thrive Hive to have a safe space for creative exploration and to have a physical corner where all the brands and things I love can take up space, where all the little things matter.

It hasn't been a smooth journey so far, but we are still here, still taking up space, still holding space for the many dreams, words, feelings of all who have passed through our tiny corner.

So much in the bigger systems need to change for sure, but as I learned from a talk I attended recently --- we do what we can is the small sphere of influence that we have and just hope that somehow, even for a moment, we make the world better for someone who is struggling.

😻 Always choose the earth-friendly option for your cats! 🌏

We finally have Timber Kitty from .pet in the shop. Locally made, upcycled rice rull-wood cat litter that is easy to use and dispose of. The natural wood fibers and rice hull naturally neutralize odors when it absorbs liquid waste.

We have been using this for our cats for over a year and it has been game changing! We even use the broken down Timber as fertilizer for our ornamental plants! Nothing goes to waste!

We have 8kg/14L boxes available at 545Php (lasts about 1-2 months per cat) or you may bring your own container and refill at 68php/kg.
