5 years ago, I received my very first bulk souvenir order — 24 pcs of shot glass candles from someone I didn’t even know. 🥹🕯️
Sobrang tanda ko pa yung story behind this order.
The customer was overseas at the time, and she wanted me to ship the candles all the way to Bantayan Island, Cebu. And honestly, wala akong idea kung paano ko ipapadala yung order, lalo na’t island pa yung destination. 😂
It was my first ever bulk order, and my first time shipping candles that far. I remember being so nervous, hoping and praying na makarating siya on time for her daughter’s birthday.
But I did it. 🥹
And grabe yung kilig ko when I realized, “May taong seryosong umorder ng candles na ginawa ko.” So I knew I had to make sure I did everything right.
Looking back now, I realize that this little order was more than just my first souvenir sale. It was one of the moments that made me realize how much I genuinely love making candles — the process, the little details, and most especially, knowing that something I made could become part of someone else’s celebration.
