Ever wondered why we named our Tausug/Mindanaoan resto “BingBingCat?”

FUN FACTS: Our resto’s name BingBingCat is derived from “Bing”or “BingCat” which is the moniker of one of our cat-loving founders who has been adopting stray cats since he was a kid.😻 And there’s another reason we chose this name: In Tausug culture, cats are regarded as the cleanest animal.🫶🫶🫶

We wanted a playful, memorable and meaningful name because we’d like to make Tausug or Mindanaoan cuisine approachable, exciting and worth discovering, especially to people here in Manila. You don’t have to travel all the way to Mindanao to experience its unique bold flavors. Because BingBingCat is here to make first-timers FALL IN LOVE with this highly underrated cuisine!😻🫶🫶🫶
