What if K-12 is really removed in the Philippines? 🇵🇭📚
Many Filipinos want shorter schooling because of financial struggles, but are we truly ready to compete globally without K-12? While removing it may help students graduate earlier and lessen expenses, it could also affect international recognition, job readiness, technical skills, and global competitiveness. 🌏
Countries like Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan continue strengthening education because the future workforce now requires AI skills, communication, technology, critical thinking, and adaptability.
The real question is:
❓ Should we remove K-12…
or improve the education system instead?
As Filipinos, we are hardworking, resilient, and globally competitive — but we must also prepare the next generation for the future of work. 💡🇵🇭
