I think I owe you a small explanation why Blue Moon is now Blue Hour.
Here it is.
When I came back to creating candles, I knew I wanted to be more intentional with the stories behind them. I wanted each scent to feel a little more personal.
The Nocturna Series has always been one of my favorite releases over the years. And Blue Hour (formerly Blue Moon) is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated in the collection.
Its core blend, coriander, mint, and cypress has always created this calm, moody, grounding atmosphere. But over time, I realized what it truly reminded me of.
The blue hour.
That moment at dusk when the sky shifts into deep indigo, just before night fully settles. There’s something about it that feels like you're almost suspended in time.
I remember one evening a few years ago, walking along Aberdeen Street in Hong Kong. The sky was this rich indigo, but softly washed with hints of pink salmon. It didn’t feel real, like something you’d only see in an anime. But it was.. there.
That moment stayed with me.
And eventually, I found myself wanting to translate it into scent.
I added juniper berry and orange blossom honey to the original blend. It's my way of interpreting that soft pink glow against the deep blue sky. A quiet contrast and a subtle shift.
I’m always grateful for this space, for letting me turn memories into something you can hold, light, and live with. I think I’ll be doing this for a long time.
Blue Hour, along with the full Nocturna Series, is now restocked.
