Our last- 8th session, painting a SUNSET. My painting at the back I did a year ago was the challenge. Since this was their last session, I gave them an exam by having them create their own interpretation of this painting without asking me too many questions. This was also to see if they learned everything from the class, such as form, depth, colors, shading, etc. At first, I was a little nervous because I was unsure if they could handle the sunset landscape, as this theme was very difficult. However, I am very proud of all of them for giving their best effort to make this painting possible!

Our 7th session "Paint Your Own Bag".

On this activity, i made a drawing such as ice cream, rainbow, unicorn etc but I let kids paint and choose colors they liked for each bag I gave them. The purpose of this is to let them to paint freely and without being pressured. So happy of their creations! 🙂🩵

Our 6th session - "ABSTRACT." In this activity, I let the kids explore by creating art with no references, only through their emotions. I asked them to use whatever feelings they had during that time—whether sadness, enjoyment, or happiness—and reflect those emotions in their artwork. At first, they were confused and found it difficult to do. I explained further that the activity had to be free, allowing them to express their feelings, as abstract art is a form of art without recognizable subjects, though it involves colors, lines, shapes, and tools to express creativity. Gradually, they were able to create their own abstract art, and that’s why I am a proud teacher indeed!
