Want a fuller pothos? 🌿
Instead of letting the vines grow longer and longer, I cut them into nodes and put them back into the same pot.
More nodes = more chances for new growth. ✨
Sometimes, making a plant fuller means cutting it back first.

From cocopeat to semi-hydro 🌱
The cleaning part takes time, but I don’t want to rush it. I want to see the roots clearly, remove the old medium, and observe how this Fernwood Sanse responds to its new setup.
Every plant is different. That’s what makes transitioning so exciting. 🤍
Now we wait… and watch it grow.

I barely care for this Monstera, yet look how big and beautiful it has become. 🌿
Sometimes, plants don’t need more attention—they just need the right spot.
For this one, a shaded area seems to be just what it needed. 💚

This braided Lucky Bamboo needed a little preparation first—thoroughly washing the roots until the water ran clear, removing dry and damaged leaves, then giving it a new home in semi-hydro.
Now comes the waiting… 🌱
Let’s see how it adapts and when those water roots appear.

After all the cleaning, transitioning, waiting, and wondering…
then suddenly—there they are. 🤍
It reminds me that growth takes time.

There’s a process before a plant becomes ready for semi-hydro.
It takes time, patience, and a lot of hands-on work—from cleaning the roots, transitioning the plant, waiting for new water roots, and making sure it’s healthy and ready to grow.
It may be labor-intensive, but I genuinely enjoy the process.
Every plant teaches me something new.
And that’s what makes every plant from Leaf and Layer special. 🌱
