DEFINITION
n. 1. Collaborations will not be limited to design industries; KALAMAAM DESIGN STUDIO will be an open door from craftsmen to skilled individuals. Creating and recreating everyday objects and spaces, we want to bring attention and appreciation the normal things with well-designed products and spaces. The Designs will extend from what we touch, what we see, what we use

and where we stand and sleep. DIRECTION
KALAMAAM DESIGN STUDIO will be a melting pot of opposites in time and space. The past represented by memories, dreams, and archetypes and the future geared towards the latest global trends and technologies and much more forward thinking design sensitivity in creating a human design for human consumption in a global context. PRACTICE
KALAMAAM DESIGN STUDIO will straddle between being an industrialist (mass production) to being artist (one off art oriented projects) uninhibited by outside design trends. KALAMAAM DESIGN STUDIO will be fluid and multi- disciplinary, creating micro to macro objects, and customized solution for each design requirement. KALAMAAM DESIGN STUDIO will be either male or female oriented striving for a more androgynous output to move away from clear definitions to a more universal solution. Designs will be hammered out constantly until the bare essentials are left. TRAVEL
Travel will be a major part in the progress of KALAMAAM DESIGN STUDIO. This is done to better understand the design solution (anthropometry in the right scale). Melding the traditional design and crafts and the latest technology to be better represented in the global market.
