I spent ages (a week) on this project, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It’s the first time I’ve created something with real intent and meaning behind it. I struggled a lot with getting the texture right for the butterflies—the material kept cracking, and I almost gave up. On my third and final attempt, I tried a different technique. While I didn’t quite nail the texture I was aiming for, at least I managed to make it work. And of course, I couldn’t resist adding some (literally went for it) gold accents—I can never say no to gold paint when it’s lying around! I really hope it’s as appealing to others as it is to me.
