GRUNGE NEVER HAPPENED from the upcoming album VIVA!

Back in the years I spent with THE HAUNTED we did a lot of shows with UKs seminal NA**LM DEATH. As far as I am concerned really good touring-folk.

We became friendly and over the years a trust and respect.

I have always been very open about loving open projects, for the creative alone. Something we all kind of shared. Back in 2012 Shane Embury from NA**LM DEATH send me this scrappy demo straight off his laptop.

I loved how it took a play on Dear Prudence and somehow it gave me the idea.

The tender "Dear Prudence" lingering as a memory, with the harsh bleakness of hindsight and experience. The squats and punkrock-venues of the 1980s and 1990's were a world apart from Prudence Farrows meditation-hut in Pune, India...

So - I wrote this song.

Together with Tue Madsen and the (all new incarnation of the Peter Dolving Band) we have recorded it for your enjoyment and, a little bit, to spite those who don't rock n roll.

Also - grunge never happened.

Enjoy.

Onward! / Peter Dolving
