Give me your advice! Never been a jig guy in any way, but stumbled across a cheap n simple one wich I want to try. But… what’s the trick to get bevels at even height on the tip/from the curvatur?! I see people doing a sweeping turn with the jigg when the curve starts, but still… the bevel is lower on the tip. Only gets thinner and more material removed. What trick am i missing? Will still do free hand grinds, but I hate when I cant figure out something. 😊

Great day back in Dalecarlia today! Visited Tonys great shop and got stocked up. Thanks for coffee and great materials! After that I went on to a truly legendary Swedish knife institute: BIG thanks to Morakniv for making an exception and letting me tour your factory! When not sitting by the water carving small bowls and spoons, I cut out blanks, fit and finish toxic Suretouch and Corbys in the swedish summertime.

Custom mushroom knife. That is: customer wanted a knife for picking mushrooms, but also be able to do some carving and/or light bushcraft stuff. So instead of the traditional hawkbill blade he got a more all round classical blade in AEB-L stainless. Handle in stabilized birch and buffalo horn with brass pins. Sheath in dyed cows leather, zebrano wood and a leather hanger with a fancy yet awesome Matthew Walker knot.

Small(ish) but handy knife shipped out. AEB-L stainless steel with handle in sallow tree, curly birch and brass details. Sheath in curly birch and a one piece leather solution.
