NEZUKU 「根」

A home to take root in.
Eevee and Mew already have.

NEZUKU 「根」

The extendable table. Compact when it is just the two of you, full length when it is not. One footprint, room to grow.

NEZUKU 「根」

Living green rooted into the joinery, life growing straight out of the built form. A home is not somewhere you simply move into. It is somewhere you take root.

THE ENSŌ 「恩」

A circle is only complete when everyone is in place.
That is the ensō. It is also, as it turns out, a fairly accurate picture of how a studio works. Each person holding their part of the shape, the whole thing only finished when no one is missing.

恩 is the grace we owe the people who build alongside us. The clients who trust us with their homes, and the hands that make those homes whole. A studio runs on it.

We are looking for more of you to design homes that feel whole.

SHIRAKO 「白子」

A minimal home is not about owning less. It is about deciding less.

When a space holds only what matters, the day inside it grows quieter too.Fewer surfaces to clear. Fewer decisions before the coffee is made. The same soft light through the same arch, morning after morning.

Routine, when the room stops competing for your attention, becomes a kind of rest.

SHIRAKO「白子」

Before, and after.
The flat began as most do.
Serviceable, divided, unremarkable. What it became is a single continuous space in the palest white, where the walls were softened, the palette stripped back to one tone, and the light given room to move.

The bones were always there. We simply took away everything that was in their way.

SHIRAKO「白子」

白子,Shirako. The palest white. Not stark, not clinical. The white of undyed cloth.

Here it runs uninterrupted. Living into dining into kitchen. Wall into ceiling into cabinetry.

A single tone holding an entire home together, with no contrast to break the calm, no line to tell you where one room ends.

What remains, when you take the colour out of a home, is its form.

IYASHI 「癒」

The first act of the day is opening the blinds.

Light arrives in slats across the table, the settee, the floor. Nothing else is asked of the room, and nothing else is required of the person standing in it.

癒 is not a feature one installs. It is what remains once everything unnecessary has been removed.

IYASHI 「癒」

Forest green and dark walnut.

The Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku — forest bathing — holds that time among trees settles the nervous system. This kitchen makes the same argument in cabinetry.

IYASHI「癒」

Loose furniture moves. A built-in settee stays.
And when the furniture stops moving, the routine finally settles, same seat, same corner, same light, every evening.

Storage under every bench, out of sight.
Design that grows into how you live.
