He'd already met five other firms. Same pricing, nothing stood out, until he mentioned his kid's bedroom.

We picked up a scrap of paper off the floor and sketched the whole room in isometric, on the spot, while he was still talking. He said that was the moment he knew. No more comparing, no more meetings needed.

That's the difference between telling someone what a room could look like and actually showing them.

She didn't give us a mood board. She gave us one word: white, and full creative control.

We built around what stressed her most before the renovation, storage. A wall came down so a cabinet could sit recessed into its depth, and a dead corner turned into a curved space she now uses the most.

That's the kind of brief that puts everything on us. We'd rather have that than a brief that plays it safe.

We started this project with light, not furniture.

Every cove and recessed strip was planned first, so the hallway and living room feel warm and connected the moment you walk in. Behind a slim panel by the dining table sits a full height storage cabinet, floor to ceiling, holding everything the owner needs without any of it on display.

The living room stays soft with a bouclé sofa in warm ivory and a rust toned throw, while round poufs flex between seating and a footrest. Even the kitchen carries the same warmth through layered under cabinet lighting.

Every zone considered on its own. All of it tied back into one home.

Compact wardrobe on the outside. Full storage system on the inside.

Paired with a platform bed that hides even more, the whole master bedroom stays clutter free without trying.

The lighting seals it. Warm and layered, calm enough to unwind in after a long day.

Even the bathroom got the upgrade, swapped from basic lighting to something layered, and that single change gave it a hotel-like elegance the room didn't have before.

83cm by 2m of wall space. That was the brief.

We went with curve as the core idea, softening every edge including the inner corner. A curved bench sits against the wall with a slim storage cabinet stacked above it, and a semi circle pull out chair extends the seating to five, plus two stools.

The partition wall behind it is lime wash paint, centred on a slab we call the King Centre Stone, framed with two golden trims. Since we couldn't find an offshore dining table that worked for the space, we designed and built one from scratch, modelled in SketchUp and fabricated locally.

Small footprint, fully custom. That's the part we're proud of.

One word was all she gave her interior designer. White.

Then she stepped back and let us run with it. A wall came down, not to open up the room, but so a cabinet could sit recessed into its depth, storage built into a space that used to just be structure. What was once her biggest renovation stress became more storage than she has things to fill.

Even the dead corner in the house got turned into her favorite spot, softened with a curve.

One word. A completely trusted decision. A home that felt right the moment she walked in.

A desk in this Choa Chu Kang bedroom sounds like a compromise. Here it reads as the plan all along.

The study corner is built into the room itself, not squeezed into a leftover spot, and the bedside niche is sized for what actually gets used daily instead of what fits on a nightstand. Even the wardrobe wall runs floor to ceiling without swallowing the room.

Nothing in this bedroom feels like what was left over after the rest of the flat got designed.
