อคลิลิส ยอดนักรบแห่งมหาสงครามเมืองทรอย ผู้สยบเฮกเตอร์
เมื่อแรกเกิด เทพีเธทิสผู้เป็นมารดาได้นำเขาไปจุ่มแม่น้ำสติกซ์ มอบความคงกระพันให้ร่างกาย ทว่าข้อเท้าที่ถูกจับไว้กลับกลายเป็นจุดอ่อนเพียงหนึ่งเดียว
เมื่อเติบใหญ่ เธทิสพาเขาไปซ่อนยังเกาะสกายลอส ให้ปลอมตัวเป็นหญิงเพื่อหลีกหนีชะตากรรม แต่เมื่อโอดิซีอุสมาค้นหา อคลิลิสกลับเลือกเปิดเผยตัวตน เลือกดาบเหนือความปลอดภัย และเข้าสู่สนามรบ
ภายหลัง ความโกรธจากการที่อากาเมมนอนยึดนางบริเซอิสไป ทำให้อคลิลิสถอนตัวจากสงคราม เพโตรคัสจึงออกนำทัพแทน แต่ถูกเฮกเตอร์สังหาร ความสูญเสียนี้ทำให้อคลิลิสกลับมาด้วยความแค้น
เขาสังหารเฮกเตอร์และลากศพไปรอบกำแพงเมือง จนกษัตริย์ไพรอัมมาขอศพคืน
ท้ายที่สุด อคลิลิสบุกกรุงทรอย และถูกสังหารโดยลูกธนูของปารีส เป็นไปตามคำทำนายที่ไม่อาจหลีกเลี่ยง

Achilles, the greatest warrior of the Trojan War and the slayer of Hector.
At birth, his mother Thetis dipped him into the River Styx, granting invulnerability—yet his heel remained his only weakness.
Hidden in Skyros and disguised as a maiden, Achilles chose the sword when Odysseus came, embracing his fate and entering the war.
After Agamemnon took Briseis, Achilles withdrew. In his absence, Patroclus led the army but was slain by Hector. Grief and rage drove Achilles back.
He killed Hector and dragged his body in vengeance, until King Priam reclaimed it.
In the end, Achilles fell in Troy, struck by Paris—fulfilling the prophecy he could never escape army. Though he drove the Trojans back, he was slain by Hector. Stricken with grief and rage, Achilles returned to battle.
He faced Hector in duel and killed him, then dragged his body around Troy in fury, until King Priam came to reclaim his son.
In the end, during the fall of Troy, Achilles met his fate struck down by an arrow from Prince Paris
