How can we educate and entertain you today?
Motra Media Distributions and The Daud Studios are established names in Africa's media landscape. Since their beginnings as an outstanding news gathering company, the production of Afrikan Fashion Awards - the first of its kind on the continent at the time, to movie, music and TV productions, Motra has had a profound influence on African Fashion, Cinema and Music in the last twenty years – both domestically and internationally.
Cinema, Music , Fashion and Children's entertainment continues to be our passion, but it is just one of many.
Our aim today is to entertain everyone on all channels and platforms perfectly and at all times.
From the star-studded sneak previews and fashion roundups to the family TV movie on Sunday, from the movie theater seat to the couch or on the road, from the cultural music to the global hits, from the world premiere to the final episode of the series, from regional comedy to global blockbusters, from your favorite cartoons to the Kids shows that reignite the child in all of us, for young or old, with depth or chill factor, we are driven every day by one single question:
How can we entertain you today?
To achieve this we use all the channels, stages of exploitation and technologies that are used for entertainment today. For this reason we do not think in terms of media but of formats:
Want to watch a film, or Cartoon?
We are one of the leading film production studios in Africa for the development, creation and distribution of self-produced and acquired film and TV distribution rights.
Here, we exhaust all the steps in the exploitation chain – from cinema distribution and home entertainment to TV broadcasting or digital exploitation.
Or would you prefer a series, or music?
We create, produce, market and distribute exclusive, premium-quality music and series for TV and video on demand, produced nationally and internationally – binge-watch factor included!
Want to see a live show?
Our successful non-scripted programming also covers a broad spectrum, ranging from fashion shows, live music shows, and kids entertainment to sponsored sports or branded content shows.
