G3Q mixes high and low end, old and new, for interiors that are as playful as they are stylish. Laura studied pre-med and sculpture at the University of Notre Dame and went on to become a lawyer. After practicing law i
n the Bay Area for six years she moved to the East Coast, traveled the world and country, and is now back in Los Angeles. Equipt with her Mother’s artistic influence and her own passion for treasure-hunting Laura left the life of law for that of the Hunt. Brooke studied apparel manufacturing at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. Although she spent the majority of her career in the apparel industry, from sales to design to opening her own retail store, seeking out vintage treasures was her passion at heart. Through years together as roommates, Laura and Brooke discovered they made an incredible design team. Laura being more modern and bold, Brooke being more vintage and neutral. The combination of their two very different styles has been the secret weapon behind their success. Whether merchandising a store, staging an event, or styling a home, creating a space that is both unique and inviting is what they do best. There is no task too large, no hour too early or late, no distance they wont travel to bring their visions to life. With their 4 biggest (little) fans behind them, choosing a name to represent their venture of vintage interiors was simple. Laura’s “3 G’s” and Brooke’s “Q”. G3Q Designs, named after the four little people in their lives that inspire them everyday. When setting out to find the perfect logo, the search was over shortly after it began. Their obsession, which inspired their first collection, an organic decision…the inkblot. In love with it’s endless possibilities of interpretation and it’s timeless appeal (with just the right amount of edge), it could not be more appropriate. And so it was, G3Q Designs was born…our finds, your interpretation.
