Elena & Bradley could have had their ceremony in one of the Mayflower’s many lovely ceremony spaces, but they had their hearts set on Union Station’s Presidential Suite. And boldly they went for it! Then they made room for a little adventure along the way with a Metro ride to their reception, wedding attire and al!

And that baby’s breath band front! An incredibly lush sweep of flowers across the stage, creating a gorgeous backdrop for their first dance and toasts. Such a fabulous choice for a spot that gets so much attention throughout the evening. Add classic blue and white flowers and an abundance of candlelight in the Mayflower’s Grand Ballroom… was there anything NOT to love about Elena and Bradley’s wedding?!

We’re back at the Mayflower this weekend, just ahead of E & B’s anniversary, and it’s the perfect time to reminisce.

Modern Park Hyatt Wedding in Washington, DC

There is something especially satisfying about taking the ingredients of a very classic wedding - white flowers, greenery, candlelight - and tweaking them just enough to make the result feel fresh. That was very much the direction for Amy and Reuben's wedding at the Park Hyatt in Washington, DC: modern, with playful twists on classic looks. The palette was predominantly white and ivory, but this wasn't meant to be a sea of indistinguishable white flowers....

Lucy & Jack’s summer wedding at St. Francis Hall was filled with soft pastels, graceful chinoiserie, and long tables designed for gathering. Towering arrangements of huck foliage added height and movement, while delicate blooms kept everything light and romantic.

From timeless to joyful. 🤍🍋

Alessandra and David began their wedding day in the Crystal Room at the Willard beneath our new gold chuppah, where an all white floral design let the beauty of the space and the significance of the ceremony take center stage.

Then the celebration took a turn. Guests were greeted by three sculptural lemon displays at the es**rt table before entering the Dark Panel Room, where lush color blocked floral centerpieces alternated with tables filled with candlelight. Fresh lemons tucked among the candles added the perfect finishing touch, bringing warmth, color, and a playful nod to the couple’s vision.

Some weddings tell one story. This one unfolded beautifully in two acts. ✨
