Another successful shearing day was enjoyed thanks to the generous hosting of Sarah and Mark Rogers. Alex Andrade and Otto worked efficiently as a skilled shearing team, supported by several enthusiastic young helpers. Norman, Luna, and Trever are now free of their heavy coats and are better prepared for the warmer summer months, even if their new look appears a bit amusing.

The alpacas are extra fluffy and majestic this morning, looking like walking clouds in oversized sweaters. However, it is shearing day, and by this afternoon these regal fluff balls will transform into a herd of wide-eyed, slightly bewildered naked aliens. Stay tuned for the dramatic makeover.
