Hooray! It’s time to share. The Standing Raven. I was privileged tand honored to get to test the pattern for the Standing Raven.its a magnificent bird and pattern.
The snake, frog, and beetle are not part of the Standing Raven pattern. They are part of the marvelous patterns by Crafty Intensions and can be found there. I added them because they are part of the Ravens diet.
White Ravens are rare but there is such a bird. It’s legendary for many cultures. These white Ravens is due to a genetic condition called leucism that causes loss of part of the pigmentation but is not albinism. In Norse mythology. Odin had black Ravens. As you can see, my Odin has a White Raven. He will soon have a Black Raven or two (bodies are already done).
You need to know how to work with wire as there is wire throughout. The pattern did not all for wire in the beak but I added it around the edge I order for it to hold its prey.
Do to the wire needed in the Raven it would not be child friendly. Wire is needed for support so the Raven stands.
